SciComm

Below is a sample of my participation in science communication, both writing and otherwise.

STEAMM

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, and Medicine are all entertained when doing research. I’ve always been fascinated how different fields can creatively come together to solve interesting questions and inspire people to be more curious.

EquilibriUM, editor-in-chief and writer

BioArtography, 2018, Highways and Byways

BioArtigraphy, 2020, Captured Chaos

I was a part of a team that exhibited Ut Totum, a project for Imagine RIT in 2015. Coming from the Latin ‘as a whole,’ our goal was to create interactive experiences that integrated science and art. With a group of engineers, artists, and scientists, we built stations that attendees could engage with including software that converted dance moves to abstract art, LED art using water, and a 15-foot tall origami structure with pieces folded by visitors.
